Canada: it’s a country most neglected by its own citizens. But some of us care, and care to explore what’s Canadian about being Canadian, and what our own stereotypes have to teach us about ourselves and our country, geographically and existentially. We’ll look at film, literature, art, culture, politics and history to paint a clearer picture — or build a sturdier igloo, if you will — of the polite, benign northern nation most of us don’t care if we really understand or not.
